Love comes in different flavors

I knew an individual who felt the need to prove that he loved his partner. For the sake of his privacy, I will not disclose who this person is. However, know that he is someone relatively close to me. Anyhow, I think where there’s an instance where one needs to prove that one loves another individual, there is an issue, for I think love comes in different flavors. Love is multifaceted and not the same for every pair. It is very much a subjective feeling. Where there’s an area where one needs to prove love is present, it becomes a very childish thing where you are essentially not acknowledging the love of other human beings, which can be damaging. Love comes in multiple forms even outside of romantic love, there is platonic love, the love of strangers and love of kin, though these forms are all distinct from one another.
