Is it all just a coincidence? I don’t think so. I had someone on social media recommend that I read the bible the other day because my comment came off as arrogant. I didn’t think it did. I was simply expressing a contrary opinion that went against the influencer’s video. The influencer was a retired plastic surgeon. He’s someone I respect and look up to, I was simply expressing an opposite opinion to engage thought and create discourse.
I ended up typing a snarky remark back as I usually do with all comments. The funny thing is, little does the person know that I do have a bible on my bookshelf in the King James Version that they had recommended. I opened it up after that and read a few passages for shits and giggles. It’s strange how social media or social interactions work sometimes. There’s so much limitation to language. Sometimes, two parties often don’t realize that they’re fighting for the same cause. Such is the nature of language.
