Today, perhaps for the first time, I bore witness to the power of AI. I created a shell script that allowed me to batch process around two hundred and fifty brain images by entering about four questions into the chat prompt window. It was the first time that I’ve succesfully used AI to produce code that actually works (I think, it’s still processing). Before this, I still harbored a lot of distrust associated with artificial intelligence and in its ability to produce viable working code. Yet, why wouldn’t we think that its capabilities will only get better with time? Artificial intelligence, after all, is the future of electronics, and few can deny that fact.

It is a great feeling when two to three days of full time work can be simplified into just a few minutes of script and a few hours of processing that’s automated. It opens up the time to do other creative things with. For instance, I’m drafting this blog at the moment in my room instead of mindlessly working on a data processing shell script. We’re talking about priorities here. AI opens up the door for humanity to be more creative and make use of their time more wisely.
